Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in the United Kingdom to produce high precision aerospace components from detailed drawings. You will assemble sub-assemblies and setup tooling per controlled documentation, ensuring all build records are complete and compliant.

You will maintain training records, assist in training colleagues, and regularly review progress to drive continuous improvement and alignment with the company mission.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Code of Practices and IPC620A Standards - training provided
• Previous experience in a precision assembly environment

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for aerospace applications
• Assemble sub-assemblies for Ultra range of high precision products using appropriate tooling
• Set up tooling including presses, drills and special tooling per approved documentation
• Ensure build documentation is completed per procedures
• Maintain training records as evidence of work
• Assist in training other operators to achieve Approved Operator status
• Complete tasks per drawings, process sheets and specifications
• Review progress annually to support continuous improvement and company mission
• Attend training courses as applicable for company and personal development
• Adhere to company procedures and perform other duties as reasonably required

Job description

Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Operator.

What you'll do:

• To manufacture high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for the aerospace industry.
• To manufacture a variety of sub-assemblies for use with Ultra's range of high precision products using appropriate tooling and processes in accordance with the individual's scope of approval.
• Setup tooling such as presses, drills, special to type tooling etc in accordance with controlled documentation, and in accordance with the individual's scope of approval.
• To ensure that all build documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures.
• To maintain training records in accordance with company procedure as evidence of work carried out.
• To assist in the training of other operators to help them achieve Approved Operator status.
• Complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant drawings, manufacturing instructions process sheets and specifications.
• Review your job progress on an annual basis with the objective of achieving continuous improvement. You will need to adhere and contribute to the advancement of the Company Mission.
• Maintain awareness and attend training courses as applicable for the purpose of the Company and self-development.
• Always adhere to Company Procedure.
• To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requested
