Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. You will operate manufacturing processes and equipment, dispense raw materials and maintain accurate production records to help ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires following Job Cards and SOPs, maintaining cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination, and using JD Edwards for stock entry and reporting. Training and development are available within the production team.

Qualifications

• Work safely within a manufacturing environment.

• Complete documentation accurately and maintain production records.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards to prevent cross-contamination.
• Use computerised systems, including JD Edwards.
• Work efficiently as part of a manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely with due regard for your own safety and that of others in the area of operation.
• Dispense raw materials for manufacturing using a computerised dispensing system.
• Collect materials from stores and relocate them as required.
• Maintain accurate stock records through timely and accurate entry of stock usage into the JD Edwards system.
• Operate a range of manufacturing equipment and processes in line with Job Card instructions and SOPs.
• Complete all manufacturing documentation promptly and accurately to meet documentary requirements for pharmaceutical product manufacture.
• Calibrate associated equipment in line with calibration schedules and complete relevant reports.
• Work efficiently to support manufacturing operations.
• Clean manufacturing areas and associated equipment to the required standard to prevent cross-contamination.
• Operate forklift trucks safely.
• Transfer materials and products throughout the factory safely.
• Use all required safety equipment provided by the company.
• Assist with training other operators.
• Maintain accurate stock records through timely and accurate data entry into the JD Edwards system via terminals.
• Carry out other duties as requested by the Team Leader or Manufacturing Manager.
