Job Role: Manufacturing Operative/ CNC Operator
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.00am-3.30pm & Friday 7.00am-2.00pm
Salary: £26,871.00 - £28,392.00 per annum DOE

gap personnel acting as an employment business are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Operative/ CNC Operator for a fast-growing manufacturing business, based in Avonmouth, BS11. Responsibilities
- Operating a variety of machinery and equipment used in the production of composite product.
- Assembly of the product by appropriately handling the raw materials and following the specified procedures.
- Inspection of materials and finished product to ensure they meet the company\'s quality standards. Reporting any defects or issues to the Team Leader.
- Use of measurement tools, such as measuring tapes, to ensure workpiece dimensions conform to specifications.
- Adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Reporting any safety concerns immediately.
- Working closely with other team members and communicating effectively to ensure a smooth production process. Assisting colleagues when necessary to meet production goals.
- Maintaining accurate records of production, including quantities produced, materials used, and any quality issues. Completing production logs and reports as required.
- Undergoing any necessary training required to effectively meet the role\'s requirements.
- Maintaining a clean work area.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisation and planning skills.
- A flexible approach to work.
- Understanding Standard Operating Procedures.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move materials.
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and safe methods of work in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of 5s and LEAN tools would be advantageous.
