Job summary

Recruitment Unlimited (SW)Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join an established Tiverton team. This practical, varied role covers day-to-day operation of the production process with full training provided, offering a real chance to build a career in manufacturing.

You will work on rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends, support smooth production, monitor machinery, maintain hygiene, record production data and follow health and safety guidelines while developing

The Role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join an established manufacturing team in Tiverton.

This is a practical, varied role where you will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the production process. You will receive full training, making this a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who is keen to build a career within manufacturing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the smooth running of production processes from start to finish.
• Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment.
• Moving raw materials and finished products safely between different areas of the site.
• Carrying out routine cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Completing production records and updating information on computerised systems.
• Working alongside colleagues to achieve daily production requirements.
• Checking that work is completed to the required quality standards.
• Following established processes, procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Reporting any issues with equipment, production or quality when required.
