Job description

Job Title: Manufacturing Operative

Location: Dumfries

Salary: £13 p/h

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours:

  1. Week A- Monday- Thursday 12 hr's a day
  2. Week B- Monday - Wednesday 12 hrs a day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow production plans, work instructions, and quality standards
  • Assemble and inspect parts and products for accuracy and defects
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Record and report production data, faults, and downtime
  • Work to daily targets while maintaining quality and safety
  • Support with loading, unloading, and general warehouse duties as required
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
  • Must have experience working with power tools and taking measurements
