Job description

Gap personnel are recruiting 3 Production Operators for a global, leading manufacturer based in Norwich on a temporary to permanent basis. Overtime available for successful candidates.


The company is a large manufacturing site with a variety of roles and duties to be completed, a strong and positive company culture, where wellbeing and safety are paramount to the business culture.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

Monday to Friday + Overtime available


Rotational weekly shifts - 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00


Basic Pay: £12.21 for first 40.25 hours


Overtime Rates: £18.32 after 40.25 hours, £24.42 after 40.25 hours on Saturdays after 2pm


Role and Responsibilities:

As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Working on a production line
  2. Assembling cardboard boxes according to production specifications
  3. Operating machinery and equipment
  4. Monitoring the production line to ensure smooth and efficient operation
  5. Inspecting finished products for quality control purposes
  6. Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  7. Following safety processes and guidelines while working with machinery
  8. Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  9. Reporting any issues or malfunctions with machinery to the supervisor
  10. Adhering to company policies and procedures related to non-food production processes
  11. Performing other duties as assigned by the production manager
