Job summary

AMF Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative in Leeds for a permanent position. You will join a large manufacturing operation and work a 6am–4pm shift, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay.

Duties include reading specifications, meeting production targets, distributing raw materials on time and using hand tools such as clipping guns. The role requires reliability, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive attitude to maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Manufacturing Operative

Leeds

PERMANENT

Days 6am - 4pm Monday to Thursday

Our client, a large manufacturing business based in Leeds have an immediate requirement to recruit 3 well versed manufacturing operatives to join their team.

Overview

• Ensure that products are produced to the correct specification & checking for any flaws.
• Ensure the finished products are in line with the overall quality criteria
• All tools & machinery are maintained and used correctly
• Health & Safety guidelines are followed at all times

You will be involved in a multiple stages of the manufacturing process.

Man Duties include:

• Reading specification to ensure product has correct components
• Meeting production targets by ensuring all raw materials are provided in good time
• Ensure materials are distributed in correct order
• Using hand tools (Clipping Guns)
• Prioritising product distribution to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure raw material stocks are maintained
• Ensure products are packaged correctly.

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a solid background in manufacturing environments. You will work well under pressure and have a "can-do" attitude.

This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday. In return you can expect an hourly rate of £12.79 increasing to £13.88 after training. Standard 39 hour week paid weekly.
