What you will do as Manufacturing Operative:

  1. Work within well-defined procedures, with limited supervision, and escalate problems to your supervisor for resolution as they arise to complete assigned tasks.
  2. Inspect goods prior to stocking to ensure they meet defined specifications, using appropriate inspection techniques (including physical measurements, comparison to drawings, counting, visual checks for physical damage, documentation, and/or certification check).
  3. Make judgments on whether products meet defined specifications to ensure satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  4. Complete basic assembly, testing, or processing of various kits using multiple parts to create an end product, following specific drawings and instructions.
  5. Carry out a range of clearly defined tasks according to written and verbal instructions to ensure work is completed correctly and on time.
  6. Receive delivered goods and record them in the SAP system to ensure proper documentation for further use.
  7. Despatch goods as requested by your supervisor, following instructions to ensure products are packaged, sealed, and shipped correctly and on time.

What you'll bring

  • Knowledge of appropriate screens on SAP system.
  • Understanding of SHE procedures and regulations relevant to your work area.
  • Detailed knowledge of specific procedures.
  • Understanding of basic design and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to identify and solve routine problems.
  • Good manual dexterity may be required at this level.
  • External certification may be necessary to complete specific tasks or processes.
  • Ability to work within a shift pattern if required.

This list is not exhaustive, and we encourage applications even if you don't meet all the criteria. The most important qualities are a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
