No experience? No worries! We provide the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of food production, offering a starting salary of £23,506 per annum.

Reporting into the Production Department Manager, you will ensure the efficient and effective throughput of product in the working area whilst meeting customer quality expectations and adhering to Food Safety/Health & Safety guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating specialized production machinery, ensuring each machine is running effectively and safely at all times.
• Supervising Production Operatives and agency staff working on site.
• Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines/procedures are being adhered to at all times, reporting near misses & any accidents or incidents when they occur.
• Ensuring our customer orders are met to our high standards of quality.
• Reporting any Out of Spec Products/Machinery issues/Non-Conformances to Line Manager promptly.

About You:

• Good attention to detail.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Can work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• A dynamic and flexible attitude and can solve problems.
• Values working within a team.
• Willing and open to learning new things.
• Previous experience of machine operating or food production/processing would be an advantage.

Shift Pattern:

It is a nights-only shift pattern. You will work a total of 14 days over a 28-day period, from 6pm to 6am as follows:

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday

We offer an additional shift allowance of £2,266 per annum for working nights only.
