Pay Rate: £12.08 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join a well-known chemical manufacturer in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a temporary-to-permanent position with a reputable company that offers career progression and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Handling raw materials and chemicals in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Following strict health & safety procedures, including PPE use.
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Keeping work areas clean and organised.
  • Completing relevant production records and paperwork.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (chemical industry experience is an advantage).
  • Ability to follow strict health & safety guidelines.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
