Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

  • IOSH qualification or supervision experience is advantageous but not essential.

Job description

Manufacturing Operative

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Salary: Starting at £14.99 per hour, rising to £15.58 per hour within 12 months

Shifts: 12-hour Days/Nights rotation

Hours: 40 hours per week

Role Overview

You will work as part of a team to manufacture high-quality concrete products using advanced technology, prioritizing health and safety. Responsibilities include operating press machinery, hand tools, shot blast machinery, and mobile plant such as forklifts to move stock.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Forklift license and experience (advantageous)
  • Teamwork skills
  • Flexibility for shift rotations or night shifts
  • Basic computer skills
  • IOSH qualification or supervision experience (advantageous but not essential)
