Overview

This is an excellent Manufacturing Operations Manager opportunity, working for a thriving company with a growing reputation in the scientific manufacturing industry. The Manufacturing Operations Manager will apply a strong engineering background, along with expertise in LEAN manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to lead day-to-day production operations.

Responsibilities
  • The successful Technical Production Manager will take ownership of floor-level manufacturing performance, mentor engineering and production teams, and drive best practices in process efficiency, safety, and quality. This is a leadership position, but still requires a hands-on, practical approach in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

What’s Required?
  • A degree in Engineering (Chartered Engineer) and experience in high-tech or scientific manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and process improvement methodologies
  • Experience in managing production teams and solving technical production issues
  • Confidence in interpreting engineering drawings and applying mechanical/electronic assembly best practices
  • Any exposure to photonics, NPI, or cross-functional leadership across engineering and supply chain teams would be highly beneficial
