An established industry player is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Mechanic to join their team in York, Maine. • Performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and maintaining accurate records
• Inspecting equipment regularly to identify needed repairs and safety concerns
• Training line operators on safety procedures like lock-out/tag-out
• Recommending, evaluating, and installing new equipment or line improvements
• Coordinating repairs with outside vendors and minimizing production downtime
• Maintaining clean work areas, spare parts inventory, and responding to off-hours equipment issues
• Graduate of technical or trade school
• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing production equipment
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
• Maine boiler license (4th class or higher) preferred
