Manufacturing Manager - Fabrication Division

Adept Ltd is an industry leader in product development and manufacturing. Operating for over 50 years, we specialise in Plastic Injection Moulding of proprietary and contract products, supported by high-end precision tool design and manufacturing. Our business designs, manufactures, and assembles a range of composite operating theatre accessories used worldwide, with a mission to improve lives through innovative products.

Lead, Scale and Deliver

We seek a hands-on manufacturing leader to oversee end-to-end production of high-spec, high-quality products capable of scaling to meet global demand. You will lead the production team, establish robust systems, and foster a culture of quality.

What You'll Own

  • Oversee daily operations within the fabrication division
  • Build and develop a skilled, motivated team
  • Shape company culture, set expectations, and manage performance
  • Lead growth, change processes, and efficiency improvements
  • Identify and eliminate rejects and waste causes
  • Optimize workflow and drive continuous improvement through technology and systems
  • Manage tools, systems, and data used in management
  • Lead special projects and support new product launches

About You

  • Proven leadership in manufacturing, especially in high-tech or device-driven environments
  • Experience with mid-volume, high-complexity production
  • Ability to scale operations without compromising quality
  • Strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams
  • Strategic and hands-on approach with a track record of improving delivery, safety, and performance

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years of progressive manufacturing or production experience
  • 2-5 years in supervisory or management roles, including labor planning and shift management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
