Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager to join a global manufacturer of bespoke systems and custom solutions based in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production team, including the development and implementation of production planning, resource management, material sourcing, equipment layout, and fabrication. They will also manage and develop their team through ongoing training and mentoring to ensure operational efficiency.

Experience and Background

• Experience as a Manufacturing / Production Manager or similar role in manufacturing management.
• Exposure to bespoke manufacturing, short run production, or assembly environments. Alternatively, experience in gas, valve, or fluid handling product manufacturing/assembly.
• Experience in team growth and development.
• Ideally holds an HND or Degree in Engineering.
• Must be commutable to Bristol.

Package

• £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the bespoke manufacturing and assembly environment.
2. Manage and grow the customer solutions team in line with company growth targets.
3. Develop and implement production planning, resource management, material sourcing, equipment layout, and lean fabrication practices.
4. Manage and develop the team through ongoing training and mentoring to ensure operational efficiency.
5. Report and record all non-conformances in accordance with company processes.
6. Ensure quality control on all jobs.
7. Operate at the site based in Bristol.
