Overview

Great opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a large Manufacturing organisation in Blackpool. They are looking for a motivated candidate ready to step up into the role and this is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a large finance function, with lots of senior support and the chance to prove yourself and progress. You will report into the Financial Controller, and a key part of this role is to build key relationships with both finance and non-finance Managers, so the role will take on commercial aspects.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts
• Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly
• VAT Return
• Supporting yearend audit
• Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls
• Supporting the new financial system implementation
• Ad hoc projects and reporting

Requirements / Qualifications

• Qualified (ACMA, ACCA or ACA)
• Excellent excel skills
• Confidence and ability to work with senior managers
• Professional and positive attitude

• You will also be able to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced changing environment
