About the role
BD Swindon, Wiltshire, is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-tech automated assembly lines, including 50+ injection moulding machines (by Engel, Fanuc, Krauss Maffei...), robotics, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
You will work with state-of-the-art machinery, gaining knowledge of complex systems. The role involves working in clean-rooms and controlled environments following GMP standards. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document activities using SAP, ensuring proper spare parts management and process records.
This position operates on a continuous night shift (10 pm to 10 am), 3 days on, 3 days off, with a competitive shift allowance.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will receive skills training to obtain certifications such as cGMP, enabling work in cleanrooms.
Ideal candidates are innovative, problem-solvers, excellent communicators, and team players eager to learn new skills.
Requirements include a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (C&G, ONC, or equivalent) or a relevant apprenticeship.
