Job summary

Safran in Burnley is a global aerospace leader seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead a key manufacturing area, delivering SQCDPI performance through effective people leadership and continuous improvement.

You will manage production teams, resource planning, and cross‑functional collaboration to meet customer requirements, while championing Lean, 5S and Right First Time practices in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager or Operations - Manager role.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of MRP/MRPII processes and production planning.
• Proven leadership of large teams and talent development.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, process compliance and KPIs.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to meet customer delivery targets.
• Ensure on-time-fulfillment against production plans and MRP requirements.
• Drive SQCDPI performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead QRQC reviews and daily operational routines.
• Ensure safety, regulatory and quality standards compliance.
• Develop and implement plans for workforce capability and succession planning.
