Manufacturing Information Technology Support Lead

Onsite

We have partnered with a leading manufacturing customer in their search for an Information Technology Support Lead. This role requires an individual with extensive technical knowledge who is eager to be hands-on while providing leadership and strategic direction within the team. It may suit someone with previous management or leadership experience or someone seeking the next step in their career.

Role responsibilities and skills:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the factory IT support teams.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to IT team members.
• Set and execute strategic plans for IT services and infrastructure.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all corporate computer systems across multiple locations.
• Deliver reliable IT services primarily for factory operations as part of an IT shared service model.
• Support the deployment of new systems and applications, coordinating with external partners and internal teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Ensure company systems meet industry standards for compliance and licensing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, Azure, InTune, and Teams.
• Manage network configurations including LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, and Wi-Fi.
• Maintain network cybersecurity, mitigate security risks, manage SOC providers, and implement cyber security measures in operational technology (OT) environments.
• Understand virtual environments, particularly VMWare.
• Manage company data, backups, and off-site storage.
• Maintain standards such as TISAX accreditation for information security compliance.
• Knowledge of MS SQL management and clustering.
• Hands-on experience with PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
