Job Title: Manufacturing Improvement Manager - Performance & Improvement, Submarines

Working Pattern: Full time

Location: Derby (Raynesway)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Manufacturing Function for a Manufacturing Improvements Manager to join our team on the Raynesway site, Derby. The purpose of this role is to drive improvement, governance, and support to our Manufacturing Facilities and DBUs (Delivery Business Units), to meet operational goals and increase performance. You will be part of the team setting and delivering the manufacturing strategy across Rolls-Royce Submarines and will introduce digital metrics aligned with the Rolls-Royce Production System.

  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering with product/process knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving, change management, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Business Process Improvement Techniques / lean.
  • Leadership and coaching abilities, experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of Rolls-Royce Production System principles.
  • Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
