Job summary

Kaizen Talent Solutions seeks a General Manager for a modern South Wales facility. You will own full P&L, define the operating environment, and lead a refreshed management team to drive world-class manufacturing standards across production, engineering, and health & safety.

You will focus on leveraging plant capacity to boost volume, throughput, and sales turnover, delivering maximum profitability while embedding a culture of lean excellence and OTIF performance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading an autonomous manufacturing operation.
• Experience managing a manufacturing P&L or substantial budget responsibility.
• Strong leadership with coaching and cultural change experience.
• Hands-on experience driving improvements with lean/world-class methodologies.
• Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
• Strategic thinker with pragmatic, hands-on execution in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor the management team to form a cohesive leadership group.
• Own site P&L and cost management, budgets, and capital investments.
• Embed a data-driven lean manufacturing culture to optimise OEE and reduce waste.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain, scheduling, and logistics to ensure OTIF delivery.
• Represent site with customers and Board, driving the multi-year investment roadmap.
