Job summary

VANRATH is partnering with a renowned manufacturing company to recruit for a production-support role on the shopfloor in Lisburn. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist with unloading and material handling, and support production activities in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures, with training and development opportunities available within a supportive on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, cleaning, or related roles is beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Safety-conscious with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across the shopfloor and panel shop.
• Assist with unloading trucks and delivering items to the shopfloor, operating forklift if qualified.
• Support production activities by ensuring tools and packaging materials are properly stored and waste is disposed of correctly.
• Participate in the cleaning, painting, and preparation of sets prior to despatch.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by following relevant method statements and risk assessments.
