W Talent Finance is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint a Finance Business Partner. You will work closely with the Finance Director to manage day-to-day financial operations, deliver timely reporting and provide commercial insight to drive efficiency and margins.

The role suits an experienced finance professional who thrives in a technically demanding environment, balancing rigorous controls with proactive business partnering across production and operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or equivalent role.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments is essential.
• Strong technical accounting skills and month-end ownership.
• Experience with manufacturing costs, stock, WIP and margins.
• Commercially aware with ability to translate data into actionable insight.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process and reporting.
• Prepare and review P&L, balance sheets, cash flow and schedules.
• Manage month-end/year-end processes with robust financial controls.
• Analyse performance versus budget/forecast and investigate variances.
• Support product costing, inventory valuation, and cost variances.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial visibility.
