Job summary

Adept Resourcing is assisting a Sheffield-based manufacturing client to recruit a Head of Finance to lead and manage the finance function in a fast-paced environment. The role reports to the FD and requires someone who can build an effective finance function, challenge existing practices and dig beneath the numbers to reflect operational realities.

• Qualified or QBE.
• Experienced within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in management accounting, costing and inventory control.
• Capable of leading and managing a finance team.
• Commercially minded and able to understand the operational drivers behind financial results.
• Prepared to take responsibility for resolving problems rather than simply highlighting them.
