Job summary

CY Executive Resourcing is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well-established manufacturing business. The role offers study support and a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office, enabling collaboration with Finance Manager, Finance Director and operational teams.

You will help translate financial data into insights for business decisions, support budgets and forecasts, and contribute to cost analysis and reporting across production and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or relevant degree; plans to study ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in finance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Experience using accounting and finance systems.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or AWS QuickSight.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to understand financial performance and support decisions.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts preparation.
• Ensure stock accounting accuracy and data integrity with factory teams.
• Support factory management with reporting on efficiency, productivity and output.
• Develop and improve reports in production and accounting systems.
