Harper May Limited is recruiting a Finance Analyst for a well-established UK manufacturing group based in central London. You will support financial planning, costing analysis and the monthly close, translating activity into clear financial insights for non-finance stakeholders.

The role requires ACCA/ACA/CIMA part-qualified, finalist, or recently qualified, with hands-on experience in manufacturing or distribution, strong Excel modelling, and the ability to present findings and drive data

Qualifications

• ACCA, ACA, or CIMA part-qualified, finalist, or recently qualified.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environments.
• Strong grounding in product costing, margin analysis, and working capital management.
• Proficient in Excel with ability to build and troubleshoot financial models.
• Comfortable presenting findings to busy stakeholders and explaining numbers in commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and scenario planning
• Analyse product costing, gross margin trends, and pricing performance across the product portfolio
• Support the monthly close cycle, including ledger reconciliations and commentary on variances
• Monitor working capital metrics - cash conversion, inventory days, receivables - and flag trends to management
• Work with operations and commercial teams to improve data quality and reporting accuracy
• Identify and quantify cost reduction opportunities in procurement, logistics, and overheads
