Job summary

Bentley Motors Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Facilities Engineer in Crewe to lead the introduction of equipment and facilities for new vehicle models, from R&D through installation and handover. You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, Logistics, IT and suppliers, delivering state-of-the-art facilities while upholding safety and budget targets.

Reporting to the Senior Process Planning Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, coordinate multinational teams, and ensure

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive assembly equipment or production lines.
• Proven ability to plan projects, schedules and milestones.
• Structured problem-solving using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience managing or contributing to project budgets and CapEx.
• Experience coordinating suppliers or contractors during equipment design, build and install.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of facilities, equipment and technologies within approved investment and timing.
• Apply structured problem-solving to identify risks and implement solutions.
• Ensure facilities and equipment meet safety, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets and capital investment, monitor expenditure and mitigate financial risks.
• Develop and maintain robust project plans and track milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver solutions.
• Oversee installation, integration and commissioning through handover.
• Drive continuous improvement across facilities and production environments.
