Job summary

HOIST is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong manufacturing ERP background to join our client-driven team. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, create functional and non-functional documents, and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, support design discussions, perform gap analyses, assist in QA, and contribute to project planning and risk management. 50% travel, fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience within manufacturing environments and ERPs.
• Experience with shop orders, shop floors, material consumption, and cost tracking in manufacturing.
• Post-secondary engineering education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in client-facing roles and 2+ years ERP implementations.
• English fluency and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
• Analyze business processes and systems to identify solutions and improvements.
• Create and maintain functional and non-functional requirement documents and user stories.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform gap analyses and support design, QA, and risk management activities.
• Work with development teams to ensure correct implementation and timely resolution.
• Participate in design discussions and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Facilitate cross-team communication and training, and document user guides.
