Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing excellence, drive NPI, and champion continuous improvement in a highly technical environment.

You will build and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers, develop scalable processes, and apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cycle times, cut costs, and improve quality across electromechanical assembly.

Qualifications

Degree qualification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt advantageous.
PM qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

Drive the manufacturing aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring DFM/DFM principles are applied and products can be manufactured at scale.
Lead Continuous Improvement activities using Lean and Six Sigma to deliver operational excellence.
Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, lead times and cost.
Identify, manage and elevate manufacturing risks, issues and opportunities.
Support Change Control Board activities and BOM accuracy, work instructions and procedures.
Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers and oversee manufacturing facilities.
