This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to apply their knowledge within a fast-paced engineering environment while contributing to operational excellence and innovation. Mentored throughout by the Technical Director and experienced engineering team, you will gain hands-on experience in project management, manufacturing processes, supplier engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, sustainability, waste reduction, and operational performance. You will support the delivery of engineering projects; tool manufacture, injection moulding, and supply chain operations. By the end of the internship, you will have developed demonstrable practical engineering, project management and problem-solving skills. This is a valuable opportunity to strengthen your CV, enhance your employability, and build a strong foundation for your future career.

Requirements

You are eligible for an ESPA internship if you are a registered student or have graduated within the past two years.

Personal Skills
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar.
  • A genuine interest in precision engineering.
  • An analytical approach with strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Confident communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation (desirable).
  • Awareness of manufacturing processes an advantage.
  • Good numerical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive attitude and able to work independently and as part of a team.
