Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern (CVE) on a 13‑month placement at Whitman Laboratories. The role supports launch of new products on production lines, with risk assessments, production studies and data analysis to drive improvement.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to commercialise skincare and fragrance products and provide line trial reports and data compilations.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards an Undergraduate Engineering degree with a 2:1 or higher.
• Preferred disciplines include Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good IT skills with Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Undertake production studies to monitor and optimise assembly area effectiveness.
• Support line improvement and strategic projects within a team or solo.
• Assist line trials and documentation for CVE activities.
• Collate performance data into usable formats; highlight improvement trends.
• Generate saving initiatives and contribute to implementation feasibility.
