Role Summary:

We are on an exciting journey of transformation with the aim to continually grow and develop our emerging talent across the organisation. As part of this change, we are expanding our team with the new positions of Business Administration apprentices.

As the business evolves and transforms, the Manufacturing Engineer apprentice will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing the business.

The Manufacturing Engineering Degree Apprenticeship aims to transform learners into 21st-century engineers with the skills they need. Apprentices will gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviors to excel in manufacturing engineering environments, focusing on future industry demands.

This Level 6-degree apprenticeship provides practical and theoretical training for aspiring manufacturing engineers, including early career individuals and school leavers seeking a formal degree qualification.

Manufacturing engineers will specialize in manufacturing concepts, principles, and methodologies to develop the skills of the existing engineer workforce, emphasizing advanced manufacturing techniques and project management to ensure products are launched on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

Participants will benefit from collaborations with industry leaders and expert teaching staff with professional engineering experience. Graduates can register as Incorporated Engineers with relevant institutes like IMechE and IET.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the innovation, enhancement, and development of the manufacturing engineering department.
• Assist in providing effective support for new programs and emerging issues.
• Support production areas and deliver project work packages, ensuring technical quality and compliance with product, safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
