Overview

We are seeking 2 Manufacturing Engineers to join a global leader in aerospace manufacturing. Our client has experienced rapid growth in recent years, with a strong order book and continued expansion across their teams.

Role

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and enhancing manufacturing processes, involved in the design and testing of new processes, optimising existing ones, and troubleshooting production issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes for bearings.
  • Optimise existing manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Troubleshoot production problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and conduct experiments to test new processes and materials.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement new processes and resolve production issues.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in production / process / manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry with grinding / super finishing focus.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working in a similar position
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
  • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks) and other engineering tools
