What You Will Be Doing

We have a unique and exciting opportunity to work as an INDUSTRIALISATION ENGINEER across the entire engine life-cycle, including assembly, disassembly, and testing.

The AD&T Engineering department employs around XXX engineers and is crucial for the successful build, overhaul, and development of hundreds of engines annually. The department covers the full engine build lifecycle from experimental development to production and servicing in the field.

As an industrialisation engineer, you will promote and implement world-class methods, technology, digital capabilities, and processes across all areas of AD&T. You will have the opportunity to influence and improve processes within the Experimental, Production, and Overhaul departments in Derby and our global network.

Under EPIC, the industrialisation team fosters best practices, collaboration, leadership, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout AD&T.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong connections across the full engine build and service lifecycle.
  • Promote and implement APQP principles throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ensure the latest technologies and digital opportunities are utilized efficiently, considering the full engine lifecycle in decision-making.
  • Lead bespoke engine build/disassembly projects where industrialisation is key.
  • Drive method improvements and simplifications, such as FAI and engine manual utilization across production.
  • Collaborate with design and engine build teams to ensure readiness for UltraFan across the full engine lifecycle.
Who We’re Looking For

We seek a highly driven self-starter with strategic thinking skills, capable of influencing at all levels, and familiar with APQP, PPAP, FAI, change control, and problem-solving tools like 8D. Experience in manufacturing engineering specific to engine assembly/disassembly and knowledge of Part 145 and Part 21 regulations would be advantageous.
