Manufacturing Engineer - Broughton (Double Day Shift)

Join a team that's shaping the future of manufacturing at Airbus Broughton! Are you passionate about driving continuous improvement and supporting high-performance production teams? We're looking for a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to join Airbus' A350 Manufacturing Engineering team, providing lineside support and leading initiatives that make a real difference.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the fast-paced production line, working closely with operators and first line managers to resolve technical issues and keep things running smoothly.
  • Leading and delivering continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance operational excellence.
  • Analysing and solving recurring technical challenges, escalating issues when needed, and collaborating with wider support teams.
  • Managing work orders for out-of-cycle work and ensuring all processes meet the highest standards.
  • Anticipating and adapting to changes in production capacity, helping the team stay ahead in a dynamic environment.
What We\'re Looking For
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering-aviation experience is ideal, but we\'re open to candidates from other large-scale manufacturing backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse issues and drive effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Experience using CATIA and SAP is an advantage.
  • NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent is desirable, but we value experience just as highly.
  • A basic understanding of aircraft build philosophy is a plus.
