Job summary

Bromford Industries Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in special processes to join our Engineering Department. You will support the Manufacturing Manager on EHS,Quality, Cost and Delivery, and participate in walk the floor routines and daily operations meetings.

The role requires experience in automotive/aerospace/defence or related sectors and proficiency in laser programming; EDM/Wire programming skills are desirable.

Qualifications

Experience in Automotive/Aerospace/Defence, Power Gen, Medical, Nuclear, Food & Drink sectors.
Proven ability to program multi-axis lasers; EDM & Wire programming skills desired.
Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

Support Manufacturing Manager with EHS, quality, cost and delivery objectives.
Walk the floor routines and drive on-the-spot problem resolution.
Attend Daily Operations and Standard Diary meetings, own ME issues.
Contribute to EHS model through Job Safety Observations and PFMEA.
Understand value stream constraints and improve flow where relevant.
Create and control manufacturing documentation (SOPs, work instructions).
Coordinate tooling design and availability for safe, robust processes.
Lead or support PFMEA and other improvement projects with suppliers/customers.
