Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking two Manufacturing Engineers to join our defence-focused operations in the UK. You will contribute to development and optimisation of manufacturing capabilities, collaborating with production teams to resolve challenges and implement improvements.

You will design tooling, support safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement across processes while adapting to high-precision production and security requirements.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or higher in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• IT literate (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Solve production challenges and bottlenecks in a high-precision environment.
• Improve processes, methods and tooling to optimise output.
• Deliver capital projects from concept to introduction.
• Design jigs, fixtures, test equipment and tooling as required.
• Create and maintain SOPs and process control documents.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
