Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations Team in a defence-focused, high-precision environment in Summerfield, Kidderminster.

You will work with production to resolve bottlenecks, improve processes, design jigs and tooling, deliver capital projects, and maintain SOPs and process controls while supporting safety and quality. Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) is required, with defence experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven production/manufacturing environment exposure.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or EN9100/AS9100 is required.
• Defence industry experience and knowledge of security practices are highly valued.
• Strong problem solving and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve production challenges and bottlenecks on the shop floor.
• Improve processes, methods and tooling to optimise output.
• Deliver capital projects from concept to introduction.
• Design jigs, fixtures, test equipment, and tooling as needed.
• Create and maintain SOPs and process control documents.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
