API Microelectronics Ltd. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join the Engineering Team in a fast-moving microelectronics environment.

You will provide hands-on shop floor support, own and improve manufacturing processes, and contribute to NPI activities to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting shop floor operations.
• Experience with process documentation and SOP creation.
• Understanding of manufacturing materials and processes.
• Experience in high-reliability industries (aerospace, semiconductor, microelectronics) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support to production, resolving issues in real time to minimise disruption.
• Own and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure they are robust, repeatable, and efficient.
• Develop, write, and maintain manufacturing documentation including SOPs, work instructions, process specifications, BOMs.
• Support NPI activities, translating design intent into manufacturable processes and ensuring smooth transition from development into production.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve yield, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformances, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support production with training on new and updated processes.
• Engage with suppliers to support materials and process issues.
