Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd in Bradford is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to help establish production for a new range of products. You will turn product designs into repeatable assembly processes, set up workstations, and prepare the operation for increased volumes.

Working with senior manufacturing engineering support, you will define manufacturing methods, develop tooling, and contribute to DFx reviews. The role is based in Bradford with occasional travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret designs.
• Experience with tooling, fixtures or introducing new manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing and assembly processes for new products.
• Design or develop jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids.
• Contribute to Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly reviews.
• Support equipment specification, selection, installation and commissioning.
• Develop manufacturing documentation and support engineering change control.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing bills of materials.
• Support PFMEA, error-proofing and practical problem-solving activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve build issues and improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
