Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for introducing and supporting the manufacture of complex electromechanical products in Hampshire.

The role covers NPI, DFM, DFA and continuous improvement to ensure smooth production transitions from design to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing, experience with PCB-based assemblies, and a track record in Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Experience leading Manufacturing Engineers.
• Experience in low-volume, high-complexity electromechanical manufacturing.
• Experience with PCB-based assemblies.
• Strong Lean and Six Sigma background.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes.
• Support Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement projects.
• Support Production, Supply Chain and Engineering teams.
• Drive PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis and 8D problem solving.
• Manage manufacturing documentation including BOMs, work instructions and testing procedures.

You'll play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI), Design for Manufacture, Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering strategy, ensuring products transition smoothly from design into production.
