Job Description:

PE Global is currently recruiting for Manufacturing Engineer with hot test experience, for a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment based in Stafford.

Role is available for 12 months contract and paying up to 24.20 p/h PAYE or 32.85 p/h Umbrella.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

  • Provides support and guidance on all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.
  • Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
  • Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
  • Analyzing engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.
  • Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
  • Rebalancing work, getting line up ready, supporting key aspects of processes.

Education/Experience

  • 3-5 years experience.
  • Experienced in the application of lean methodologies including Six Sigma and Kaizen improvement tools.
  • Knowledge of systems and controls
  • Experience with Beckoff and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Experience with software programming / coding – Visual Basic, C++, Python
  • Good understanding of an operations environment.
  • Appreciation of a hot test environment
