Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for a Portsmouth-based client. You will focus on developing and optimising manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and maintain high quality across production lines.

You will work with engineering teams to implement new designs, resolve process issues, introduce new technologies, and ensure health and safety standards. The role offers a permanent, on-site position with £50,000–£60,000 salary depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality assurance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
