Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Participate in product development projects within assigned product groups, completing objectives as outlined by management.
• Develop and maintain process documentation for close tolerance tooling, including process control points.
• Evaluate current manufacturing processes and recommend improvements.
• Communicate with customers to assist sales, address questions, and resolve issues during pre-contract and production stages.
• Participate in final review processes to align cost estimates and advise sales on potential issues.
• Lead projects for custom tooling in a dedicated shop, documenting estimated vs. actual costs.
• Manage daily orders with customers and suppliers.
• Provide quotes for customer projects.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of 3D CAD software (preferred SolidWorks).
• Experience in CNC environment and process improvement.
• Customer interaction skills, including reviewing prints and engineering documents for quoting and manufacturing.

Nice to Have Skills:

• 4-year engineering degree.
• CNC programming (CAD/CAM).
• Experience in quoting.
