Job summary

Sheffield Forgemasters in Sheffield is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to support machining programme production, drawing creation and planning across the full lifecycle. The role sits at our 64-acre site and offers exposure to state-of-the-art fabrication as the business modernises after its Defence Ministry takeover.

You will work with Unigraphics to model parts, generate 2D drawings, and develop routing to optimise production.

Qualifications

• 3D modelling of customer components and creating 2D drawings in Unigraphics.
• Experience programming turning and milling using Unigraphics.
• In-house development and design tasks.
• Knowledge of risk assessment during process changes.

Responsibilities

• 3D modelling of customer components and 2D drawings from models using Unigraphics.
• Create turning and milling programs with Unigraphics.
• In-house development and design tasks.
• Develop routing through Machine Shops to optimise production.
• Identify and monitor risks when changing processes.
