Job summary

Saint-Gobain Formula in Newark is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive improvements in plant performance, product quality and efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of process engineering and site maintenance, translating improvement ideas into practical engineering solutions and leading workflow changes.

You will troubleshoot complex faults, lead small to mid CAPEX/OPEX projects up to £100k, manage contractors, and work with operations to reduce downtime, waste and energy use while

Qualifications

• Experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Experience within a heavy industrial or 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Multi-skilled with mechanical and electrical capabilities.
• Experience delivering continuous improvement or engineering projects.
• RAMS review and safe implementation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults with the maintenance team.
• Design, build and implement engineering modifications with Process Engineering.
• Deliver CAPEX/OPEX projects up to 100k.
• Manage external contractors and sourcing components.
• Document engineering modifications and communicate to maintenance teams.
