Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Materials Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in defining and optimizing manufacturing processes in our additive manufacturing business. Your day will involve collaborating with technical and engineering teams to develop production methods, tooling, and fixtures, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. You will contribute to problem-solving initiatives, support continuous improvement efforts, and work closely with operational teams to streamline manufacturing workflows.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  1. Maintain high quality standards by following SOPs and collaborating with engineering teams on new product development and manufacturing processes.
  2. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while developing part-specific manufacturing instructions for processes such as CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and wire EDM.
  3. Design tooling and fixtures, train operational teams, and coordinate with subcontractors to improve manufacturing processes.
  4. Support technical documentation, MRB actions, and lead 3C activities to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  2. Experience in high-volume production manufacturing and process flow-down requirements.
  3. Ability to interpret and apply customer specifications.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical issues in a cross-functional team.
  5. Methodical and self-motivated, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  6. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  7. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Fluent in English.
