Job summary

Front Row Racing in Warrington is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to program, schedule and coordinate workload within the manufacturing team. The role requires liaison with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth production flows and on-time delivery.

The successful candidate will program Haas CNC machines using SolidCAM, interpret drawings, plan tooling manufacture and manage procurement. Experience with CMM/laser inspection and 3D printing is valued; training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC machinery and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to plan and programme Haas machines using SolidCAM.
• Plan manufacture of tooling and manage tooling/material procurement.
• Administer ordering and receipt of tooling and materials.
• Manage machine service schedules and inspections (CMM/laser).
• SolidWorks experience is an advantage; Stratasys Fortus 450mc training provided.
• Familiarity with Wire eroder (Fanuc Series 16) preferred.

Job description

Front Row Racing is a family owned and managed business in Warrington, Cheshire. Due to growth of the business, we require a full time Manufacturing Engineer to assist with our manufacturing operations.

Asan integral part of the team, you willbe responsible forprogramming, scheduling and organization of the workload within the company’s manufacturing team. The role will require interaction and liaison with all areas of team Engineering and Operations.

Contract type: Open to Contractor or Full Time Employment
Remote Working: Office Based

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

• Extensive experience in programming CNC Machinery
• Ability to:
  • Communicate job scheduling and planning to machine operators
  • Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications to plan and programme Haas CNC machines using SolidCAM
  • Plan the manufacture of any required tooling
  • Administer the ordering and receipt of and tooling and material required
  • Manage the machine service schedules
  • Use CMM and laser scanner where required to inspect or reverse engineer components. (training provided)
  • Solidworks CAD experience an advantage but not essential
  • Learn 3D printer operation on Stratasys Fortus 450mc (training provided)
  • Wire eroder experience preferred (Fanuc Series 16)
• Work as part of a skilled team committed to delivering excellence.
• Experience using a Haas VF Series milling machine, preferred.
