Requirements
Verterra Energy is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Manufacturing Engineer to work hand-in-hand with the engineering team to incorporate Design for Manufacturing principles into VOLTURNUS. The ideal candidate has experience creating build process diagrams, manufacturing documentation / work instructions, and cell design and layout. They can identify, design, and procure manufacturing equipment and tooling.
In this position, the NPI Manufacturing Engineer will contribute to numerous phases of product design, development, prototyping, manufacturing and operational support. This position will play a critical part in Verterra Energy’s novel modular hydropower technology development process and will transition successful concepts through prototyping and into production.
The successful candidate will have experience standing up a production line for a complete product, not just a component, and will have practical experience being the “glue” between engineering and operations.
