Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace Fabrication Sheffield, UK
A global aerospace leader is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their Production & Industrial Engineering Fabrication team in Sheffield. This role offers the chance to work on advanced manufacturing processes and tooling for complex aerospace components in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
  • Assist in creating and executing manufacturing plans
  • Resolve technical problems applying new engineering principles and technologies
  • Collaborate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to deliver technical solutions
  • Work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and professional associations to develop products and processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (fabrication or assembly) working with machined detail and assembly parts
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD systems
  • Legal right to work immediately in the UK
Preferred:
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Background in technical improvement projects
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems
  • ABET-accredited engineering degree
