Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace Fabrication Sheffield, UKA global aerospace leader is looking for an experienced
Manufacturing Engineer to join their Production & Industrial Engineering Fabrication team in Sheffield. This role offers the chance to work on advanced manufacturing processes and tooling for complex aerospace components in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
- Assist in creating and executing manufacturing plans
- Resolve technical problems applying new engineering principles and technologies
- Collaborate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to deliver technical solutions
- Work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and professional associations to develop products and processes
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (fabrication or assembly) working with machined detail and assembly parts
- Proficiency with 3D CAD systems
- Legal right to work immediately in the UK
Preferred:- Aerospace industry experience
- Background in technical improvement projects
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems
- ABET-accredited engineering degree
